I'm in awe at the lyricism and rage and melancholy you've been able to squeeze into the bitsy engine, and within such a curt runtime. It really is like a catchy, haunting ditty.
This is a fantastic piece of art. It feels so much like a fairy tale, with mentions of singing birds and the talking frog, and yet it's grim inspiration in the heart of tragic ballads is clear. The story is simple but perfectly to the point, the art serves it's purpose flawlessly, and the writing is exquisite. Overall, it's brilliant.
I loved literally all of it. I would love if you made more things like this. I played it in this video, it's the second game featured. Feel free to check it out if you want :)
Thank you so much! I don't think anybody else has played this on stream or video, so it was really cool seeing you go through it! Really glad you enjoyed it :)
This is superb. I got some real inspiration from your art, and the way you used room changes to make the lighting change. I wish you had a donation option :). I like to contribute to creators that help improve my own work!
That was... a good tale. That is how to make a piece of interactive fiction, I guess. Good example.
The interface is very clear about what parts of the world are interactive, but the pace at which the dialogue enters, is too sudden at times, making one possibly accidentally skip some sections, as it could stumble over the movement signals.

I loved every second of this. That feeling when everything becomes red and black is incredible.

Wow... All of this is very efficient. Except for the linearity?
Very nice tale overall. What's with the "horse statue" in the penultimate screen?
